More 64-bit goodness
I can now confirm the Linux support for the Asus K8N-E Deluxe nForce 3 250Gb based motherboard is very good (as of 2.6.11 at least!!). I now have SATA working (needed to enable the nVidia SATA support under the SCSI section) and the onboard nForce Audio is also working fine without the official drivers.
I still haven’t had a chance to check out the video related problem everyone is warning about (see my previous post), but at this stage it is looking better than I had first thought since a lot of people use DivX and Xvid these days.

Hi Dad,
How are ya? I was just checking out your site. Linux told me that you had mentioned him in it. I had to explain that you weren’t talking about him, but his namesake. I also want to know why I’m not mentioned anywhere, and so are Rusty, Laura and Jill Butler, your other children…
Shame u chatch,
Your loving son,
Nuclear
