The New York Times is reporting on Wal-Mart’s massive collection of customer data. Sounds like they collect a hell of a lot of data.

An interesting article reports that some retailers are using technology to refuse store returns to dodgy customers. Probably no data mining involved but interesting none the less. I can imagine if this happened in Australia it would probably end up on A Current Affair with Mike Munro!
